The 3800 is the midsize (37.5 mm) version of the 'Jumbo' Nautilus. The 3800/103 was produced in a very limited quantity during the '80s and '90s. The bezel of this sub reference has 40 brilliant-cut diamonds set by Patek Philippe. The dial has a smooth, champagne coloured centre which is ringed by a pavé string of diamonds and ruby hour markers. The case and bracelet of this beautiful watch have developed gold patina, which is a brownish layer of corrosion on the surface of the material. It's often a consequence of exposure to air and humidity. This is the kind of things that make a vintage watch unique and something that aficionados look for.
