From a collector's perspective we can definitely call this the Sultan of Daytona's. With only three pieces that have surfaced the market so far, this is one of the rarest Daytona's out there. Made in the year 1974 as a special order for his majesty the late Qaboos Bin Said Al Said, the Sultan of Oman, the dial bears his inscription. From the three known, one remains in one of the most prominent Rolex collections in the world, one got auctioned by Christies in 2013 (for a whopping $825,000) and this is the third one. The watch comes with the presentation box that bears the Oman national emblem.
